Diverging paths of gloom stretch ahead.Find solace in the depression of the morning fog.
Promises whispered forth by the sunset;
Of a torrential midnight rain.
Fell droplets tirade againt the pane;
Solely calming the tremors of the heart.
Misguided, the violent wind screams.
Chilling even the blood within.
Desolation; oblique, inescapable.
Darkness summons' it's fatal embrace.

This is lovely. The cadence works very well, despite it not being a rhyming poem.
The imagery is also nicely done.
