I love Delphox's design, I think people were thinking of a cuter starter but I don't really like overly girly cute pokemon. I couldn't imagine my Braixen as a guy because of it's skirt and I was fairly happy to see it evolve to look more serious and intimidating because it no longer look like a young witchΒ that was cute but not very experienced.Β

Anyone who says Delphox isn't awesome clearly hasn't seen this, lol. Although Chesnaught is kind of my favorite of the Gen 6 starters, Delphox is defintely a close second. Not to say Greninja isn't cool too, mind you all.

I love my Rosa (Delphox, Female) i put her that name because of the lore about she being a Witch/Mage. I never understood why people hate Delphox, if it is so awesome X3

Delphox needs more love! I love all three Kalos starters, ran with all of them and appreciate all three...my Delphox absolutely obliterated Korrina only her Hawlucha got a hit since it was faster but went down quickly

This picture makes me appreciate Delphox so much more, I liked it, but it was kind of like how Emboar & Samurott turned out for me, just not what I was expecting. But definitely liking it more now.

My Delphox is a girl so it didn't bothered me much, but she's powerful, I'm glad Gamefreak stepped away from the fire fighting dual type

I can say there is an inspiration for magic circles, but I saw them in many animes so I can't give a particular source.

To be honest, this is the best gen six fully evolved starter in the game. Did you know most fire-type starters can learn the move Grass Knot? I usually don't feel very worried using my Fennekin against a water type for that reason.
