Delphox may not be my first playthrough choice but its definitely my top three favourite Gen 6 Pokemon. Its design is great for its typing, it name refers to the Oracle of Delphi and its Dex Entry brings Dumbledore in Half Blood Prince to mind.

I agree with you completely, HottRodd. People should be happy with what they get instead of complaining vehemently about a tiny little change. I personally like Delphox and when people say they are disappointed or they hate it it makes me feel bad. I mean, do people have to rage about it so immaturely? They should be happy there even is a gen 6th or a Delphox.

I love him too, so underrated! Actually, a lot of people are throwing tantrums about these guys right now, but while they're taking their naps and the games come out, hopefully people will warm up to them. Everyone keeps talking about how odd they are compared to their prevos, but they're really not that different from Torchic->Blaziken, Oshawatt->Samurott, Magikarp->Gyarados, or friggin' Dragonair->Dragonite! Not to mention that a week ago they were complaining that Doublade was too lazy and now they're complaining that these guys are too drastic...


From the start, I was pretty sure that Fennekin would go bipedal. Like you've said, it could have very easily become a Ninetales recolor, so I like how they moved away from that. And while everyone else is soft resetting till they get a female, I think I'll take a male and name him Merlin.

Haha I totally understand. Many people spit on the new pokemons, it's classic. But it's not Japan, It's France. I was sure that the designs will bee different, and I'm happy ! It's original and totally with the western culture !

It's something that always happens, though I'm still always surprised at the silly reasoning for why certain Pokemon are "terrible." "Why does Greninja lose his bubble scarf and gain a giant tongue?" I don't know, how does a graceful, blue, serpentine Dragonair turn into a European-based, derp-faced, orange Dragonite?


I prefer to look at new things with a positive and open-minded mindset. It must be sooo miserable and unhealthy to be negative and hateful all the time. And like I said, people end up liking these guys eventually. The fanboys just need their naptime.

Exactly, many pokΓ©mons don't looks of there previous form, but when they're in the first or second gen, nobody's disturbed.
