Okay, I wouldn't go as far as to say that, but It's still pretty much too similar.
With the One Piece anime quickly approaching the scene in question (and the phenomenal Megumi Ishitani not working on it) I'm on edge about how this scene is gonna be handled. Also, the episode this week was nothing more than a recap episode, so I'm processing that. Had to get this drawing out of my system or I'd have lost it.

Speaking of the drawing, this is the most ambitious thing I've done in a long while. There were so many layers... Too many layers... A lot of it just blends together to the point where I'm just... done
Had my friends critique me and give me pointers and I couldn't even get to half of it since it would require me to redo so much. So we're calling it here. It's good enough for an inspired work. Putting that aside, the large majority of characters in this image are making their debut in my Gallery! Except for Alexis ofcourse.
5/7 of the characters here were designed by me and I've had their designs for a while. Hell, I've gotten most of their abilities and backstories figured out. I'll draw up some refs for them soon. The only two non-original characters here are adopts. You can't miss 'em, they're both purple! XD They're also the only ones with wings... Hmmm...
