Description
Another day, another practice session. This time, we're working with an adopted character. Her design is lovely, but I really wasn't interested in claiming her until I read her background story in her description. As it goes, Talliah is a prodigy mage whose interest in the duality of all things has led her to practice both light and dark magic at the same time, to show that they can both co-exist without one trying to destroy the other. Her intrigue has led her to some level of success, but it was implied that she still had a ways to go before she was able to master it. See, that's interesting. In my version of her story, she was able to succeed in learning advanced-level spells in both fields, but her insistence on using both at the same time has caused a lot of damage to her specifically. Fearing that this prodigy would die young chasing a "foolish" dream, one of her teachers felt it was best to leave her in the care of Devon Blake , a leading expert in Talisman magic who graduated from the same school. She is currently learning the basics of talisman magic as she believes it would make for a great step towards realizing her dream.
The drawings themselves are pretty standard (Probably even less so, the top right drawing is RIDDLED with errors). I wanted to get used to drawing her as much as possible since the gear she had was surprisingly tough to get a handle on. It's a shame I couldn't get a ref sheet to come with this as well, her cape seems to have a lot more going on than I gave it credit for. I'll need to fill in the blanks and work towards getting this done right, while respecting the original design. The magic sigils I made for her gloves also need some work, but this isn't a race, I'll have time to work on some original sigils later. For now, practice makes progress and I feel like I've made some decent progress in drawing her.

Feel free to check their work! Every adopt that they make inspires the imagination. So much so that it's tough to even get a bid in before they're just gone. They mostly come with backstories on top of it! Now that's dedication. To top it all off, Sometimes A-C will actually hold uncolored batch adopts with rules in place that ensures that we peasants can actually have an honest chance at getting one.
