Powers/abilities: With her power form, she has the abilities to manipulate fire at will and levitate. Her strength and speed increase very much and her fighting style is long distance. Without her power form, she isn’t much of a fighter. Her combat skills are very weak, but she tries her very best if she is in a situation where she has to fight her way to freedom.

Health: She doesn’t really have much health issues, if anything, her metabolism is slow.

Personality: Ruby is a very shy and timid girl overall. She is very introverted and she has a hard time socializing with people she barely knows. She shows more of a nervous smile and agrees with whatever the other person is saying just please them. She doesn’t know how to say no to people, especially when she is nervous. If you meet her in bad terms, she’ll just avoid you as much as she can.
If you’re someone she is fond of, she’s the complete opposite. She’s a little more lively and excited when she’s around, she’s more curious about things and ask questions a lot. She’s also very smart and very good with memorizing, she could be a walking dictionary.

Ruby’s Biography:
Ruby was born on July 5th XXXX, her parents were the King and Queen of their home planet Paragon. Ruby was definitely unplanned, so her birth was kept a secret and only the most trusted staff knew about her. They don’t even have record of Ruby’s birth, so she technically doesn’t exist. The problem was that the Royal Council doesn’t allow the King and Queen of Paragon to have more than one child. If they were to find out about the second child, the child would be taken away by the Royal Executives and no one knows what happens after they disappear. So, Ruby’s parents were deeply concerned and eager to keep their new baby girl.

As Ruby grew up, she was kept under high surveillance. She was never allowed near open windows or doors and she was definitely not allowed outside. If the Royal Executives or any outsiders came to visit, Ruby was forced to hide in very small and uncomfortable places within the Gem Palace. This was a habit she had built over her years or growing up, if someone were to call her name, she knew right away to hide. She never questioned it and did what her parents and sister told her to do.

Of course, she did have a mishap where decided to disobey and let her curiosity take over. She saw a 12 year old male Woodland Hedgehog (Spike Botic) sitting in the loft waiting for someone. She introduced herself and accidentally revealed her last name to him. He was shocked and scolded at Sapphire as to why she didn’t say anything about her little sister. Sapphire begged Spike to not speak about Ruby as she would be extremely upset to see her little baby sister disappear. Spike was confronted by the King and Queen, they made him promise not to speak a word and he agreed as he was afraid to break their hearts. Since then, Ruby had gained a new friend! Spike really enjoyed her company and they all grew up together.

The day came when Sapphire was going to be turning 20 years old and their parents/staff were preparing for her big day. The King and Queen prepared a major birthday present for Sapphire which was a crown of her very own! Ruby had snuck from her room to see the party preparations and met up with her parents. Ruby was starry eyed when she noticed the crown and begged her mother if she can try it on. Her mother was very insistent about the importance of Sapphire being the first one to wear it, but she allowed Ruby to hold it. Ruby admired the beautiful gift Sapphire was going to receive and she was proud of her sister.

At one point during the preparations, one staff member found complications in Sapphire’s requirements to be a Queen and her title was rejected. Ruby and her parents were very confused and concerned. Sapphire had walked into the room as the staff member was explaining why Sapphire’s title was rejected, they confronted her about it and she became deeply overwhelmed with negativity. This made Sapphire emotionally distressed and caused her power to come alive with no control. This was “The Gemstone Curse” they had been afraid of, cursed with elemental powers with no guide to controlling them. In no time, the Gem Palace began turning into a lethal ice castle and soon their flourishing green planet to a blizzard wasteland.

Ruby’s caretaker Mace The Vertex was able to protect her by getting her to a ship that was built in case she were found by the Royal Executives. Ruby begged Mace to come with her, but couldn’t as it was also his duty to protect the King and Queen.
With no time being wasted, Ruby’s ship was already on its way to a whole other planet with her sister’s crown still in hand. She puts on the crown and tells herself she’ll keep it safe for Sapphire when she comes back.
