I really loved that part. Screw the ''Clone Master'' ( don't wanna spoil ) but still...if it weren't for that showdown all that happen next could have not happen D:...well yeah episode 5 is awsome but kinda make you cry a little.

I think he did get control back, otherwise Max wouldn't have teleported himself away. It's just that he didn't do it in time before the maimtron hit Max :/

I have a theory here.The Cthonic Destroyer (the robot toy) was thrown the statue of liberty and the wheel said it was broken,it wasn't stored in the toy box and since it was in another dimension for so long,it probably lost it's link the toy box.It could be repaired and used to stop whatever mutated Max.Since the toy is the only one that can destroy/banish things from the Dark Dimension.
