Description
Bored again, oh well, here are my top 10 games - with info!1. Batman Arkham Asylum - Pretty much the perfect game IMO. Lots of stealth missions (didn't I feel sneaky swooping down from gargoyles? >: D), sleuth work and really simple combat (so much fun to just keep pressing X and occasionally Y and wash the baddies drop
2. Bioshock 2 - Great storytelling, which is the main thing for me in a game, not to mention trying the good, neutral and evil modes and the different endings you get with them. (That has been in other games, but I don't think ever as successfully as here). And once again, lots of hidden little extras to find!
3. The Curse of Monkey Island - Ah, nostalgia! I never finished it when I was little (only actually managed that recently lol) but it's one of the funniest things ever created! (Madre de dios! Es el pollo diablo!) Not to mention it's the game which introduced me to the whole Monkey Island series, which is just plain comedy gold
4. Sam & Max (But my favourite is the The Devil's Playhouse season). BEST THING IN TEH WURLD!!!1. Just funny, really REALLY funny. Seriously the funniest thing EVUR! Funny.
5. Zelda Ocarina of Time - Whoever says they don't like this game IS A FRICKIN' LIAR!
6. Discworld II - Another 90s adventure game. I didn't even know Terry Pratchett existed when I played this and the first Discworld game, so this was the first time I'd ever encountered the Discworld. When I did find out there were like 1,234,343 books though, I was so happy!!!
7. Sonic Jam - I kind of cheated since I couldn't pick one Sonic game. Sonic Jam has Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Sonic & Knuckles - not to mention an extra 3-D level with stuff like videos, music and bios and all that. The only reason I keep my Sega Saturn around
8. Fatal Frame/Project Zero 2 - I love all the Fatal Frame games ('cept I can't get the fourth 'cos it was never released outside of Japan, damn you Tecmo!!!) but they are scary, REALLY scary. And as an avid horror movie fan, I don't get scared easily. Lots of backstory and hidden extras, which make me happy ^_^
9. Haunting Ground - A bit like Clock Tower 3 if you've ever heard of it, but I think a bit better. One of a few games where you're characters actually gets scared and it effects how they act (like if the main character Fiona starts to panic, she's practically impossible to control...which often leads to her dying T_T). All the creepier that you can't actually fight off bad guys - you just have to hide and hope for the best.
10. Toonstruck - Yet ANOTHER adventure game, but not a well known one, even though big names like Christopher Lloyd and Tim Curry provided voice acting (Rocky Horror Show anyone?
