XDD

Does this need simplification?

(y + 2x) (x + z)
= xy + yz + 2x^2 + 2x^2

Sorry to barge in, but if i may,

I think it is:

(y+2x)(x+z)=xy+yz+2x^2+2xz

and then you simplify it to:

y(x+z)+2x(x+z)

and then to (x+z)(y+2x)
