Dont worry i use Paint Tool Sai for most of the work (sketch, line art, coloring ecc) then i step on Photoshop CS3 for adding the track and my signature!

Just 'playing' with levels, opacity and and mode-effects like 'screen' and 'luminosity'! it's all about practice, try on!
