This is actually one of my LEAST favorite episodes, but I like that you put A.J. in first place in this picture, just as it should be.

Of course! Then again, they had Rainbow Dash effortlessly beat Applejack in a hoofwrestle when it was even-steven in episode 3 (which can actually be implied that A.J. won) and in a later episode, Rainbow admits that A.J. (disguised as Mare Do-Well) is stronger than she is.
It's always been my personal belief that Applejack is the superior athlete of the six of them while Rainbow Dash's specialty is her flying and daredevilry. Unfortunately, some writers on the show seem to forget that each of the six ponies needs one thing that gets them to stick out above the other five. Twilight has magic, Pinkie Pie has her randomness, Rainbow has her flying, Fluttershy has her heart, Rarity has eye for detail, and Applejack has her athleticism... that's not to say A.J. doesn't have a big heart or Twilight doesn't pay attention to details or Rainbow Dash can't be athletic in the air, naturally.
Ah well. Here's hoping that Applejack gets more time to shine in season 3... and a song! Besides, she's about more than just apples, y'know.
