This is Grendel. Grendel is a goblin. (Not like Grendel from Beowulf) He's in charge or protecting the sacred orb. I can't go into further detail, 'cuz I'm actually going to write about him in a book some day. He's not the main character, but he is important. The main character is a boy named Jacob... must shut up now.....

His design was inspired by the fantastic artworks of Brian Froud. Don't know who he is? Go to your nearest Blockbuster and rent Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. He did the designs.
