Almost exactly five years ago (what impeccable timing), I posted a drawing titled "Evolution of the Character", where I outlined the progress of my main character, Sarah Moore. At the time, I was sure that I wouldn't change Sarah any more. But here I am, in 2017, with another iteration. An a lot more skill than five years ago. I love to do progress checks like this, because it's easy to feel like I've hit a stand-still with my art. Little projects like this remind me that I am constantly changing and improving.Not too much of Sarah's story or personality have changed as of yet, but her look has changed a bit, obviously. Her hair isn't so absurdly long, I gave her a little bit of a wardrobe change, and her eyes and chin are pointy like her dad's.
I would've shaded it, but I did this on only a few layers and I really didn't feel like it.
I do think I'm going to do a few more of these with other characters, because I'd like to see the side by side comparison.

The green shirt seems better on her in my opinion(to much blue for the past one) That's just me though

That was exactly my thought too. Like, yeah I love the color blue. But it was too much blue. I like this shade of green anyway.
