So here's a little whosie-whatsit for a very close friend of mine,I was called upon to attempt to redesign her main OC, Liliy.
Seeing as I've known her for a long time, I figured I'd give it a go.
Well.....I'm not very good at drawing humans. I tried time and time again to get the proportions right, and the head shape good, but it still looked fucked up.
So I decided the hell with it, and I grabbed a base.
Then I couldn't get her hair right.
Then I couldn't get her clothes right.
Then I had to go to school....
But lo and behold, the finished product. I gotta say, I really like how the hair turned out. I wasn't too sure about it to begin with, but it's growing on me.
And the clothing is really optional. I'm a fan of the shirt, but not too sure about the skirt. I dunno. It gave me a chance to practice ruffles, so I can't complain.
I'm only now realizing that I forgot to draw the scars on her wrists, but those can be added in later. I took a lot of inspiration as far as the color scheme from her current look, since I really liked her hair originally.
So anyway, here's what I got. Is it good? No. Is it satisfactory for me? Yes.

This is really cool! Besides the wrist/arm scars it's pretty awesome!
To be honest I might even mix the redesigns from you and the other person since they both have unique choices!
I really love the hair design changes and for how you kept her outfit with minor changes.
I would be drawing the design that won but my tablet broke so I am probably going to improvise and think about it for a while and when I get the winner I will let you know.

I really liked her hoodie, so I went with the half-sleeves. Not quite a hoodie, but not a t-shirt either.
And I think the skirt is starting to grow on me. I'm glad I went with it. The boots are kinda hit or miss. I wanted to give her the tall boots, but I didn't want to just copy the color and style exactly.
I gotta say though, her hair was SO much fun to color! It took a little bit of time and patience, but I'm really happy with the result.
