So yeah, I'm about three weeks late to the party, but for some reason that seems to be a general theme with how long my art takes.

In the middle of August, my family traveled from Delaware down to Georgia to watch the Great American Eclipse of 2017. We made it into a week long trip, and saw a bunch of other things along the way. When the eclipse reached totality for that sacred two and a half minutes, I was almost brought to tears. Nothing I've ever seen in my life had been nearly as beautiful. It was truly an amazing experience, and it was worth the twenty total hours in the car.

I hoped to capture some of that emotion in art, and I gotta say I'm pretty happy with the results.
