I’ve been sick all week, and wanted to post SOMETHING even if I haven’t gotten my paints out. So I whipped out my brushpen and did a few portraits of some of the merchant NPCs from Quest for Glory 2. They’re all cat-people (katta), and one of the things I love about this game is that even the NPC that you buy ONE thing from in the entire game gets a minimum of development, like how many of them are inter-related, or the meaning of their name. Sitar, the snack charmer/musician is actually a bit of an exception to the rule, since he gets no dialogue, but I am fond of him anyway.

My main focus was on trying to give each of the katta a distinct appearance without the shorthand of their color coded clothing. And yes, I know Hissa is supposed to be a cobra, but since he's not charmed or threat displaying, so I see no reason to have his hood out.
