Doctor Holiday looked at the small, disheveled child before her. Poor kid, she thought, sighing. She knelt down so that she was at the girls eye level. "I'm Doctor Holiday. What's your name?" she asked gently, smiling. "V-vict-toria.." the girl stuttered, her light blue eyes wide with fear and confusion. "That's a pretty name." Holiday said, smiling softly at the little blonde child. "And how old are you?" "F-four..." Victoria answered. "Four?" Holiday asked, raising an eyebrow slightly and glancing over at a man clad in a green suit and sunglasses standing a little ways off. Victoria nodded slowly, catching the glance and looking over herself. "Well, do you know why you're here?" Holiday asked, drawing Victorias attention away from the man. Victoria shook her head. "I don't know. Where's my mommy and daddy?" she asked, looking around. Holiday smiled sadly. "We... Don't know, Victoria." Victoria looked crestfallen. "Oh.." she said, looking at her feet. "Alright, Holiday." the man said, causing both females to look over at him. "We didn't bring her here to chat." Victoria looked at the man and cocked her head as Doctor Holiday nodded, standing back up straight. "W..why AM I here, Doctor Holiday?" the child asked, looking back at Holiday. Holiday shared a look with the man, then sighed when he nodded. "We need to keep you here for a little while." Holiday said, looking back at Victoria. "Why?" she asked, curious. "Please don't ask any more questions, Victoria." Doctor Holiday told her gently. The blonde girl nodded. "Okay." Holiday smiled. "Thank you. Now follow me, and I'll show you to your room."

"She's escaping!" One of the guards cried as an alarm sounded. "I'm on it." Agent Six replied quickly before dashing to find his quarry, his green suit flapping lightly behind him. He promptly found the girls means of escape and followed, his pace never faltering. After a few minutes of his pursuit, he had lost her. He stopped and listened intently for any signs of her whereabouts. Nothing. Then he caught a glimpse of blonde in a nearby tree. "Gotcha.." he muttered and resumed the chase. "Victoria!" he called out to her, following her through her many twists and turns. No reply. "Victoria!" he called again. Still nothing. He had trained her well. TOO well. This was one of the many moments that he wished she wasn't such a quick learner. Suddenly, her footsteps stopped. Wha.... Six thought, also stopping. Where was she... Suddenly, the girl burst from the top of a tree and took off back the way they'd come. He took off after her. She was headed for the exit. She was headed for escape. And he couldn't let that happen. He followed her as closely as he could to the exit. But he was too late. She was gone. Six rubbed his head in distress, then turned to return to base.

~~~1 year later~~~

"Now do you understand?" Doctor Holiday asked the now 13 year old girl with long disheveled blonde hair sitting in a chair in a plain white room. "Do you realize what could have happened to you?" The girl nodded grudgingly. "I cannot hear your head rattle." Holiday scorned, sounding alot like Victoria's own mother, though niether of them knew that. The young teen sighed. "Yes, I realize what could have happened to me." she said, looking at the floor. "Good." Holiday sighed. There was a period of silence, then Doctor Holiday finally spoke. "I'll leave you alone for a bit. I'll come back for you in a little while. Okay?" "K." Victoria mumbled, not looking up. Holiday sighed and walked out of the room, standing in the doorway and looking in as the door closed. Victoria sat in the chair for a few moments, then got up and walked to her barred window. She hated this place. One day.....
Doctor Holiday walked down the hall from Victoria's room. Deep down, she knew that the walls of Providence could never contain a girl of Victoria's energy and charisma. She needed freedom, adventure. She would find another way to escape. She always would. If only there were some way to let Victoria wander, while at the same time keeping her on a short leash...

~~~2 years later~~~

"Really?" Victoria asked, her light blue eyes, now surrounded by glasses, wide with disbelief. Doctor Holiday nodded, smiling. "Really." "Ooooh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" the girl said excitedly, hugging Holiday. "You're the BEST, Rebecca!" she smiled wide, bouncing around the room. But her joy quickly evaporated. "Wait.... What's the catch?" the blonde asked, placing her hands on her hips and looking at Doctor Holiday warily. "Oh, no catch." she replied, smiling. Victoria didn't seem to sure, but smiled anyway. "Now you better get ready. You don't wanna be late." Doc. Holiday said. "Oh, yeah!" Victoria smiled. "Okay!" She watched as Doctor Holiday left, then turned to her bag and began readying herself for her first day of public school.
