Description

I was just practicing some backgrounds ^.^

The sign in the back is a bit of an inside joke with my family. My mom makes me a cookie called " Beam me up" oatmeal Scotties. It's a butterscotch oatmeal cookie ( See recipe below), usually called an oatmeal scotty or a oatmeal scotchie. I really, really love these cookies and I really love Star Trek. (._.) So, in honor of the famous ( *ahem* misheard) quote, " Beam me up, Scotty" this cookie was created.

" I have my own cookie, Captain! "

BEAM ME UP SCOTTIES

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (Optional)
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
1 2/3 cups Butterscotch chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in larger bowl. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Keep them in an air tight container so that they'll stay chewy and moist OR Wrap in aluminum foil for that " Space food look" <( ^.^)>

Sadly, this isn't the original "Beam me up's ", but it's still very good! ( My mom won't share the original, even with me ;~; )

You can also make "Spock"-let (Chocolate) chip. Just use semisweet chocolate chips instead!

Live long and prosper

Bro, I'm one of those rare artists that can do both, SHIT I CAN DRAW REALISTIC VERY WELL Especially when I have no experience. I have to post an eye I did the other day cause I was bored! I tried drawing semi-realistic eyes, mouth, and nose and it came out well since I was gonna start repainting dolls! I can sew, crochet, and knit by the way owo. I was gonna start painting as well since I have the brushes!

Very cool! I love trying knew mediums, but a plain pen and pencil will always be my favorite lol. I love knitting and crocheting as well! Do you like embroidery? I prefer a semi-realistic style, but most of my stuff comes out more cartoonish?

Cool! I've never really done many plushies. Lol I used to make little felt monsters, but that's about it. I lost interest because the fabric and things are just too expensive :/

Thanks! I might do that <3 lol Everyone tells me that pintrest is the best place for that ^.^ I usually use youtube for practice and how-tos. That's how i learned to crochet flowers!
