They are a strong contender for my favorite water starter with the Totodile line being its rival :3, so back when I got Pokémon X I hadn't seen any new Pokémon designs so was like I will pick the frog lol. Then when I fully evolved them into Greninja I instantly loved the design as the way it wraps its tongue around its face is an amazing way of showing its a frog ninja plus its water and dark typing is simply perfect. I have only really seen a few clips of the X and Y anime but I'm glad they made Greninja really badass although I'm a little sad he had to lose to a Charizard but the Ash-Greninja theme is so amazing. Also really like using him in smash as his log counter attack is so awesome although I such at using his recover o-o, drew him using Water Shurican as I thought a side by side use of it would look cool. Part of me is contemplating doing a Pokémon week but it will depend on whether or not I end up wanting to draw something else over the next few days.

Neither of these drawings were too hard to start off but I ended up re drawing the legs and body of the first one as I felt the body was too small compared to the arms and legs. The crouching pose of the right one was actually quite easy to draw (guess those portraits payed off muhahahaha) although I probably should of added a section between the left knee and arm as it looks a bit off position wise. Shaped both versions of the water shurican differently as I didn't bother looking up an image so pretty much just felt like trying out two different shapes, also drew water under them to try and sell their water typing plus wanted to go for that Naruto style of standing on water . At first I was not sure how to get a pink for the tongue colour so used added a red over the darker sections but the realized I have a hot pink colour and it would of been a better colour choice o-o next time though.

Also there is this fan art piece of Ash's Pokémon with their win percentages and a reaction, Greninja and Infernape are both in the 80% and fist bump and it is so awesome at some point I hope to draw it as those two teaming up would be a dream moment.
