Latios is honestly my favorite legendary -hugs Latio- like every game that had Latios and Latias I always chose the one with Latios without even meaning to banning Omega Ruby as I knew he appeared in the original Ruby. Okay in Omega Ruby Latios is a hand out like how Latias is in Alpha Sapphire which was amazing as I love their design and their role in the game was cool. They let you literally fly around on them in their mega form and yes you control them . But in original Ruby and Sapphire they are a roaming legendary Pokemon but there is no way to tell where they are from what I know so its pretty much luck to find them. Oh my gosh I found Latios once and I had the masterball saved so I was lucky enough to be able to catch him =^-^=.

Now for the spin off roles Pokemon Mystery Dungeon will be one of course , in the post story Latios zooms past you and robs the orb store hoping to get a warp orb of some kind to save his trapped sister Latias. You battle him not knowing his attentions and eventually save Latias and both of them join your rescue team. Honestly PMD Blue is what go me into Latios and Latias as majority of the time they are like reflections of each other as one appears in game a and the other appears in game b. But Blue Rescue team separated them for the short story and gave them separated identities and roles.

Okay another thing was I got these little figurines and 2 of them are Latios and Latias which I frickin love lol. Finally their role in Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs the villain group known as the Pokemon Pinchers were always trying to capture Latios/Latias. Even the first mission involved protecting him/her. Eventually you can call him/her to fly around as you need them to get through a thunder storm as other Pokemon get scared. A cool thing was if you charge then draw their star summon symbol you got a speed boost :3.
