I don't know if he will be the 5th or 6th member of the protagonists team yet it's just he has been mentioned in the story and is who Nina looks up to so felt more invested in drawing him. He is the disciplined warrior character who joins the team while having the most amount of battle experience as he will be a captain of knight's (thinking of having 4). I wanted to have him feel indebted with Azure with the final idea being that Azure's brother was a former captain but was aiding bandits and Azure helped Darien bring him to justice. I didn't give him a surname as his younger sister will be an alchemist and I prefer the idea of revealing their family name when I eventually design her. In the story in a test to join the Knights he broke Nina's sword which is her initial motivation to get stronger.

I tried making his armour look bronze but again I find it hard to pull off a metallic look, I should look up a tutorial my method is just to add outlines to make it seem more layered. I gave his under clothing a green colour as green will be the colour of his brigade with me possibly coming up with an actual reason for each colour. I gave him magenta hair as his sister will have the same colour so felt like having a tone that I felt would work with her when I eventually draw her. I don't think he looks as intimidating as I envisioned him in the story but do think he looks cool and excited to write him having some battles.
