This reminds me of a fanfic I read. In the fic, Sans kinda resets the whole world, so The War never even happend, but he was ereased from existence for it, just like Gaster. But Sans suceeded his goal, the world was peaceful and The War never happend. But he never existed in this timeline, Gaster neither, and nobody can remember Sans (or Gaster of course).
This pic reminds me of that, 'cause only Gaster and Sans are coloured and the rest are in the background and grey, like shadows...
