!ATTENTION!
Since many of you wrote things about XX is not the stone for YY, please do know, as several fellow Deviants also have stated, that months have SEVERAL DIFFERENT BIRTHSTONES. Depending on the country and time (traditional/modern). Look it up if you must! Wikipedia is an easy way to learn about this theme!
Thank you for your attention and thank you to fellow Deviants who have been kind enough to clear many misunderstandings up.
Fashion Collection: BIRTHSTONE
This drawing took a long long time... Mostly thanks to my super procrastinations skills which I am not proud of.
Special thanks goes to my cousin and sister and mom
So, which dress do you like the most?

They're lovely. I think my favorite is Sardonyx, because it most closely resembles a rock, IMO. It does strongly remind me of the 70s/early eighties/this couch my mom used to have just because of the brown, so that'd be a bit of a count against it in my book.
Ruby, Amethyst, and Garnet seem like they'd have the most potential as real dresses, though garnet seems to have gotten tangled up in Saturn on her way here. Opal and pearl are the sort I'd buy, (if I had money and occasion.) I think the colors on pearl are great, very soft and rounded, but I wonder if those strings wouldn't weigh the dress down and necessitate straps. I feel like you could have done a little more with Opal--real opals have such complex, shimmery colors, after all--esp. the black ones.
Sapphire is good, very solid.
Diamond and emerald don't quite live up to their potential. I'm not digging the non-matching sleeves on emerald, and I'm just getting a big green dress vibe from it. too much green. I'd use two of the light sleeves to help break up the green. As for diamond, they come in lots of colors, not just clear, so some potential may be lost. It feels more like "Greek" than diamond, and I'm not keen on the multi-layered skirt, though it does try to get at a diamond's faceted angularity. One of these might benefit from a simplified, straight-skirt design.
Turquoise is lovely, but the loveliness is being covered by the extra cloth at her waist.
Citrine and bloodstone I think are the weakest. Citrone would be easy to fix; I just object to that mustache-y thing on her front and the tail dragging behind her, otherwise it's a nice dress.
Bloodstone's trickier. I love the rocks, but look how easily the red and green colors bleed together on the paper. Plus, red and green just says Christmas to me, not March. It has a tomboy vibe, though, that I like.
Is there a reason their heads are so small? I find the tiny heads kind of distracting.
Just opinions. Lovely work!

Thank you very much for your long comment! Appreciate it!
The heads are small, because usually fashion models (in drawings at least) are very tall, also to show the designs better. The head doesn't really play an important role.

I figured the heads didn't really matter, since the point is the clothes. They are all really lovely. Keep up the good work

I think I started laughing and crying at the same time when I saw Citrine because the girl looks almost exactly like me and I'm a November baby. The Pearl and Opal dresses are definitely my favorites!
