Since many of you wrote things about XX is not the stone for YY, please do know, as several fellow Deviants also have stated, that months have SEVERAL DIFFERENT BIRTHSTONES. Depending on the country and time (traditional/modern). Look it up if you must! Wikipedia is an easy way to learn about this theme!

Actually March has two birthstones: The Bloodstone and Aquamarine

There are different lists of birthstones for different months. June has pearl/moonstone/alexandrite, December has turquoise/blue zircon, August has peridot/sardonyx, October has opal/tourmaline...well, yeah, it's a bit complex.

Yeah, I was wondering - where I'm from, March has aquamarine as a birthstone (which I really only know because my mother's birth-month is March), so seeing the bloodstone really threw me for a loop.
But all the dress designs are brilliant. Particularly the amethyst dress.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aquamarine for March, as that's the birthstone I grew up with. I think that's facinating that Blood Stone is also for March. I learn something new every day
