Beautiful, reminds me of Shub-Niggurath in a less monstrous form. Is it intentional? Becouse it really has sence, considering that the Black Goat with a Tousand Young is based on Cybele...

I had actually not heard of Shub-Niggurath until now so no. The painting is based on a deity of Greek legend, a hermaphrodite that was feared by the Gods. A lot of myths and folklore is based around those of other cultures and it also makes sense that different cultures at different times could all develop similar entities based on the same stories. Who knows.
