This is my entry for PreggoGalaxy's summer swimsuit contest. Here we see Aeris Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII (I refuse to call her Aerith as she was Aeris when she came to the states and that's how she was in my younger days, call her what you want), she's standing in what is kind of like a lagoon of lifestream. That's what the dark green floating things are, bits and pieces of the lifestream. I thought it was fitting given her fate and her being pregnant in this and you know, life giving. I apologize that the floating lifestream isn't true turquoise as it is in the game, I couldn't find a turquoise marker at the art store and ordering one would take too long, thus I added the metallic green and white gel pen effects. I was trying to convey that she's a little embarrassed/nervous, hence the facial expression.

taught me some techniques with coloring and they worked out really well, look how consistent and even the markers are this time around. I used my usual Primsacolor, pastels, some colored pencil for the water, her eyes, oh and the white materia around her neck. And a final point, her belly button ring, those are two red summon materias she has there. Get it?
