One night, months ago, I did this in bed, because I was sick and dying of the miasma. The other night I decided to add more charcoal to it. I originally did this with an ebony layout pencil. I used almost no eraser on it and blended it with my fingers. The pencil was not sharp. I did all this on purpose just to see how it would look. How do you guys think it looks? Let me know what you think. Also, Alice is underwater, with some moustached fish, some bubbles, and her baby is glowing cuz foreshadowing.Related content

I do find it interesting you drew her hair swirling above her, and the fish are very cute. I am surprised we never read more about her swimming or being immersed in the stories you've written.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it, I really was iffy about posting this but my friend convinced me. Alice is like sinking slowly and steadily and her hair came undone, that's what I was going for anyways.

Yeah, her belly is supposed to look like it's glowing, that's why she's so pale down there. I didn't blend over her belly at all, I did with the rest of her skin, then used an eraser to remove some of the charcoal. It was fun doing it with my bear fingers. I KNOW I USED THE WRONG BEAR, I DO WHAT I WANT.

I especially like the dark shading at the bottom since it suggests the heaviness and density of water; and it gives a nice ominous quality too.
