As the title implies this is all I could do in the past few weeks, this artist block is really REALLY getting to me now. I feel so uncertain about my abilities, though this one turned out real well. This is basically just a normal pregnant lady in my generic pose because I suck and have no talent lol. Just being funny cuz I know I have talent, I'm just not a varied artist and I'm not very good at poses. Oh well, enjoy it.Related content

That's what you always say when you get artist's block, and sooner than later it usually goes away and you're back to drawing again just as well if not better than ever. Everyone needs to get away from things for awhile, even art. I speak from experience!

True words there my friend, I just don't want to get away from my art, but I guess I need to, or at least my subconscious needs to or something.

This sounds interestingly like a conversation I had with another artist I was discussing with him how varying your art is an important artistic process. Repeating the same thing over and over again will eventually make you better at what your doing e.g. your trade mark pose. But at the same time it's also very destructive for your creativity. In my my opinion this block is being caused by little more than a subconscious desire to throw the rule book out the window and go wild. Mix it up a bit man try something you never thought you would, what have you got to lose?

Yeah, maybe I should try a different pose or something, I'm just so worried about wasting paper and pencil, cuz when I try to draw I fudge it up. Hopefully this won't last too long, maybe some new idea will come to me soon.

May I make a suggestion? Even if it turns out all fudged up just roll with it, if something is hard to do its not gonna go well the first time but that doesn't mean its not worth trying, experimenting is one of the best parts of art(well in my opinion anyway) messing about trying new things and accidentally creating something brilliant.

Yeah, I just hope I can get my groove back soon. Once I get things rolling again I'll hopefully try something new or do some of my unorthodox drawings.
