This has been an incredibly rough drawing to do! I fucked it up real early on and was about to abandon it but refused to tear it up. I then tried to remake it and fucked the remake up beyond belief, so I figured I would return to the original and somehow I salvaged it. There is only one real mistake on it that I couldn't fix and I am not pointing it out. Good luck finding it.Here we have my water powered superheroine, Alice Mendoza, aka, Aquatica, in her new costume and in the heat of battle! She's actually firing three blasts, one straight from her tummy, that is going to hit the target first, then the two that are whipping behind her, they will follow the main blast and come in and odd angles. I am so happy with the pose, I got a really good photo and was able to make use of it for this. Now you guys can see Alice's new costume from the side as well. Oh and her hair is down because why not. I actually really like how her hair turned out, plus the water effects. What do you guys think? Of course, the pose is silly, but Alice has struck sillier poses over the years!
Anyways, I really needed to get a bread and butter graphite drawing under my belt as it has been a good while.

Interesting choice for sure. The silly part of me wants to make a Care Bear Stare joke but I could see her doing this to fend off attackers who go for the most obvious hitbox on our heroine.

My first impression was that the splash on her belly represented someone attacking her, rather than a watery blast emerging from her belly (but then again, I've been told I'm not especially good at representing physical action myself). On the other hand, the overall mood is heroic and I like the hair.

Hm, I can see what you mean. But yes, the blast is coming from her belly and it's sending water in many directions. But you do like her pose? I worked really hard on it, I fucked up her one arm and had to redo it but it managed to cooperate with me. And her hair started out looking super terrible but I just kinda sat down and went over it a bunch of times, and erased some spots, giving it the clumpy appearance so it worked out. Thank you.

Well, I just did it to spice things up, she will normally have it up. The way I interpret this is her hair tie got torn out during the fight. Thank you though, glad you like it.
