As the name suggests, this is practice. I recently got a light pad, and I got a set of Ohuhu's gray tones. So the idea with the light pad is, I can do a sketch, a good one, and then just cheat and translate it over to good paper. As you can see, I did so here with my India ink pens. I think I could achieve this with my pencils too, so it would save a lot of paper and stress because I often make little sketches and then try to recreate them on good paper. I tried some experimentation here as well. If you can read my strange handwriting, you can see that 2 of those bellies and Mira's, and 2 are Alice's.

Since Alice is Mexican, and quite dark, I tried real hard to mimic a face/body model's skin tone for her and I think the belly in the upper right corner is better than the one in the bottom. Mira, had a different problem, her skin tones are fine, her SHADOWS needed work. The belly on the left, the clothed one, the color I chose for the shadow is inadequate but the color I chose for the one to the right IS. What do you guys think? Furthermore, I gave Mira a mole on the left side of her belly cuz that thing hangs out a lot. OH and I didn't use ANY colored pencil on this. This was all markers. That's why the belly lines/linea nigras actually look terrible. I will ALWAYS use colored pencil for them. If you notice the one in the bottom right, I tried to pinken up the belly but it creates a mask like look, Mira and Alice's belly would both have some pink tones of colored pencil over them, but again, this was PURE ink testing. Which is why Alice's belly ring is marker, instead of colored penil, same with Mira's ring on her tunic.

What do you guys think? I've been pretty sick lately, as many of you know, but this was a nice think to just work on. Had some stress with it but not a lot actually. It was fun. Also I know the boobs aren't entirely anatomically correct. Again, this was not about correctness or peak performance, this was about testing the inks and testing the light pad's ability to transfer my work.
