Another Christmas Commish. This one is the Dark Knight. I stayed away from reproducing a movie still or poster. This was done in inkwash, my new favorite technique.Dark knight Batman copyright DC comics

Hi,Rudy.Good work.Full of atmosphere.What the guy said about the knees being thin
is true.But that's ok.At that angle,it's hard to handle the foreshortening because you're
not able to 'feel' the thigh taper up to the knee.Every pro has dealt with that at one time or another.
Buddy,always remember that people look at artwork first as a whole before they examine
the parts.If people look at your stuff and love it comin' out of the gate,then you did your
job.Everything else is just picking nits! Keep on going and make your dreams come true!

if you've seen my old shit on my pro you'd be amazed of my progress, being poor sux.
im liking the new artstyle though you've gotten more realistic to cover artist status. im stuck with paint on the comp. but when i get a scanner you'll see. but this pic i love it you realy captured the mood of batman. so tell me, you got any books or any major projects your working on.

Well, I sure a hell hope you have a scanner. I'm poor too, so no scanner for me. It's either Kinkos or I have to drive across town where a friend has a large format scanner.
I'm working on the Halloween issue of FUNHOUSE of HORRORS for Carnival Comics and lot's of other little things. Plus, as you can see, my Art book's available for order. Though, I wouldn't want you to spend 5 bucks,..not when you have a scanner to save for.

well i found a friend that has a scanner and he's wanting to get into the business so i told him we should work together. and when i get to doing that I'll be able to post newer art done by hand and not in lame ass paint. I've also made friends with a man that owns his own comic book shop so I'm going to see if he'd like to help promote and such or well mainly invest in us. so i cross my fingers as of now. but once i start to get everything together and such i wouldn't mind meeting you in the future your a cool dude.
