This is page 2 of Jazan Wild's FUNHOUSE of HORRORS. I've been slowly working on issue's 3 and 4 to the mini series which is nearing completion. These books have really caused me to stretch and refine my inking skills. At times I was happy with the results but most of the time I feel I have miles to go."The stroryboard of this page had a less dramatic intro to Jake Stone so I changed it and made him more prominent. I remember the intro to Mad Max on screen in the first Mad Max film. It was coolness personified."
The stories in these books are wonderful in that they're self contained shorts, yet they occur in the larger story that incorporates elements of the Carnival from the CARNIVAL of SOULS book. It's magic and horror, all done in an over the top semi retro fashion.

I sometimes think, I've drawn myself into a corner with all the rendering. Maybe a simpler style would not take a long. lol

I feel like all the blacks and grittyness of these pages it needs some ink spatter. But I spatter everything cuz I'm crazy.

Well, mine didn't turn out as cool, plus I don't know if you or they do, but I'm doing it with a toothbrush not photoshop. Doing it the old school way really makes it exciting but it's not easy to fix mistakes. lol
