Has it changed?? Oh God, it's so hard to tell bro. It's like working out and trying to lose weight. You stare at yourself in the mirror every morning not knowing, the subtle changes. And someone who hasn't seen you in a while can see it right away. If that's the case, I'm happy!

Inking detail is insane. The chains alone could cause carpal-tunnel lol! Nice diffence in textures, from Hulk's skin to Spawn's cloak. The chainwork is akin to Medina's and Capullo's styles, where the Hulk almost has an Art Adams-meets-Len Yu texture.
...So how many chain links *are* there? lol!

Wow. Thanks for noticing all that Mark. Yeah, Medina's a friend of mine, we have dinner every year with Tone Rodriguez and company at the Wizard World Texas. I've been compared to a lot of other artist's but usually not the same one all the time. I guess that's good, as long as I'm channeling and not a copy cat of anyone. Influences should help us to build a foundation and grow from there. Besides, it would be nice to be the the "Blade" of comics you know....have all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses. lol-Again, thanks for the thoughtful message.

Well if you can pick influences out of the art without copying them, you show that you are yourself original for being able to blend them all coherently and make it look good. Since you are indeed doing that, my point is proven
The fact that A) you even *know* Angel and B) are more than passing aquaintances is a nice nod to his influence as a fellow artist, which I can only say is the highest of praises.

lol-No I don't mind. I really never gave it much thought, except that this was for a tattoo so the practicality of it went out the window. If it was a comic cover I might have addressed it differently.
