I decided to throw in some more character designs I've done so I have something new to post. These are Kari and Noble, characters from a book I was going to do but had to decline for business reasons. The title was called Futures End by Noble Larimer.Related content

You're a master at what you do. We all have a distinct voice, yours is very specific and I couldn't pretend to do what you accomplish.

In some way I think I'm coming to something like that realization...not that I'm any kind of "master" of course! hahahaha but, that there is a certain style that come naturally to me when I just set down and draw out of my head and when I try to copy others, even greats like yourself, it doesn't feel like it's mine. you know? Like, I don't recognize it on some level.

Seriously though, I've got 3 projects I'm working on right now. The closest to being completed is the third Twilight Hour character portrait. I'm also helping a friend with a panel on her webcomic, and doing an "exqusite corpse" with =a-neon-devil-breath ... not to mention a big suprise I hope to have ready by summer ...

Actually, I have a question about that. Joe Kubert's school offers a corrispondence course in "Story Graphics" [link] do you think it would be a good investment? or should I just start working on it myself, and see how things go?

Wow, pretty pricey! It's difficult to put a price on education, which is why it's cost keeps rising. Still, one can always learn from this and maybe save some heart ache later learning things the hard way. Some people have a inate sense of story telling though so wherever you fall should determine if you need this. I persoanlly think just doing the work and pounding that paper will unravel all those lessons naturally.

Wow! Thanks. I didn't realize you were working on book#12. I wish I could have followed through on the book but I had difference with the Publisher at the time. I have to check out what you've done with it.

Thanks for the support, man. I'll definitely post them here. Man, it's more than 60 pages long. It's the conclusion of the first season, after all. It will have a lot of fighting sequence between Noble and Cain.

Thank you dude! we are currently planning on publishing a fanzine like comic book in black and white here in Juarez its going to be 60 pages in leght half letter size maybe one day you could contribute with a pin up

Well, the main guy was a crook, I was wworking for free, we all got too personal and Diamond cancelled our books, not to mention he spent all the money. It was a great learning experience for me.

Yeah! If I am not mistaken I heard some stuff about it from one of my friends in the CHANGOLION team, well its a pain in the a-s-s to deal with people who see this as just a way of making money using other people , ,like what happend with DREAMWAVE studio , The main guy wass making profit out of his comic book imprint but he wasent paying his fellow co workers anything I mean I heard rumors about the guy buying himsell a very expensive car but feed his people nothing! guess stuff like that happens when you start seeing this as a total business instead of making it for fun, dont you think?
