I promised myself I would not try to play and untangle the complicated chronology game, but darn it...I fell into that trap!The only thing we know for sure is Firelord Azulon's age at death: 95, as mentionned in an interview with the creators.
Iroh looks older than his brother Ozai, and it wouldn't be surprising if he was close to twice his age. So Iroh could be anywhere between 25-30 by the time Ozai was born, which could put Azulon in his 60's.
Alright, I'll stop here before I go in too deep and get confusticated with people's ages and chronology.
Still, when Iroh learned the news he would have a younger sibling, it must have come as quite a shock (happened to my cousins actually)!
Rough pencils: two thumbnails done on one 8,5X11 piece of paper. I just put the pages one above the other for easier reading. Just a bunch of talking heads again.
All characters belong to Bryan, Mike, Nickelodeon and Viacom. Trying to make sense of that world can cause headaches.

Well, they did have a date that lasted all of one filler episode. That's enough for some people.

Heck, some people get by on less- I've seen, for example, two people paired who a) met once, b) had nothing more than a working relationship, and c) he died at the end of the episode (he was blown to tiny bits), thus quite effectively removing any possibility of a further appearance.

I have seen people paired who didn't even meet at all:Zuko and Meng, two people who have died but never met: Yue and Jet and people paired where one person was responsible for the death of the other person: Yue and Zhao. Crack ships are very disturbing in that way.

Cute storyline, I can definitely see this happening. My mom totally went through the same thing when she was a girl. She was 17 when her youngest brother was born (Mom's one of six kids).

Oh yeah! When I started reading this, I had just finished reading a few pages of a Bleach manga and so I tried reading this right-to-left. XD Needless to say I was pretty confused 'til I remembered to go left-to-right.

OMG! Man, when I was working on my huge Fire Nation fic of doom about all the events of Iroh and Ozai's lives, I was trying to lay out the time line based on Iroh's apparent age, Ozai's apparent age, and the distance in age between Zuko and Azula and LuTen.
The ONLY conclusion I could come to was that Iroh was in his late twenties when Ozai was born. The eventual solid timeline I came up with for the plot of my fic put Ozai and Iroh twenty six years apart from one another in age.
You have no idea how much this comic makes me squeal because of that. It feels like a scene from the life of the Iroh in my personal fanon too. ^__^ Thank you so much for sharing, you just singlehandedly made me want to run back and start working on a fic that I've been ignoring for months! *loves you good*

I guess pretty much everyone would come to about the same conclusions, just by looking at the two brothers and their apparent age gap. I won't try and guess when the kids (Azula, Zuko and Lu Ten) were born in that timeline. One day maybe, if I get bored.
Getting to know Azulon's age at his death was definitely what got me thinking about these possible events.
