If I had to decide, I would actually prefer this version instead of the refined one. I like this rough, simple style. Exceeding usage of blur can ruin a picture, especially when it's drawn in a sketchy, pencil-like style.

I agree. As it is now there are parts of the image that don't match the rest, and it ends up looking like some of it was shopped in by another artist after the fact.
