Description This took forever.

To those who don't read journals or don't follow tweets, I'm working on my own webcomic that I'll be starting to produce next year. I'm in the writing phase, splitting the chapters and whatnot. With 6 volumes, 24 main characters an a bunch of cameos, I hope to make it a success and that everyone will enjoy reading it.

I wanted to make a teaser cover to see how it would look like, and I like the result. I chose to add Anjil and Luna, since both are in the story, and I always wanted to draw them along Ruffy as my two inspirations.

I tried to make the overall look kinda comic bookish, even though I know those are coloured with real tools most of the time. I dunno how well that turned out, but hell I got time to practice. The poses were based off a One Piece official art, one of Luna's works, and the Kid Icarus Uprising box art.

Hey dude, I know I currently have a lot on my plate, but I was wondering if you wanted a little help with this, or maybe even just a fanart of one of the scenes in your comic. It sounds like fun, and it'd be a blast to draw all three of our characters. I dunno if you want to surrender the script or not, but it'd be cool to pick a scene and just... draw it. Sometime. Maybe. Dang, I wanna do SO MUCH STUFF...

Wonderful work as usual, especially what you did with the reflections in the colours! It's an excellent blend of your own style and that of Yoshi's Island. I wanted to do a similar series myself a few years ago but I ended up sort of ditching my own Yoshi character as I don't like the idea of using fan characters. I'll just stick to Minecraft, PokΓ©mon and Mega Man for a while.

Woooooow, this is very lovely! Loving the colors and textures! They're nice and saturated without being overpowering. I'm liking the design layout, too! I was instantly reminded of a One Piece manga cover... other than, y'know, your character looking like Luffy and all

You're very welcome. I was a tad baffled since my desktop computer has more vivid colours than my laptop, and it was way more colourful when I looked at it on there. It's based heavily on it, as well as some story elements. I will change it to some extent so I don't rip it off too much.
