Nice art but reality check... Katana's typically are made out of high carbon steels just as high grade chef knifes are...
They are super sensitive to rust to the point where you can hardly even brush against the blade with your fingers without leaving black oxidation marks.
This is why you often see samurai's and most sword wielding characters everywhere cleaning their blades of some dead mans shirt or something as a temporary effort until they can have it cleaned and oiled properly.
So sane person would ever lick a blade like that...
then again maybe it a bizarrely shaped lollipop... there are metallic coatings that can be applied to candy after all..
Sorry about raining on your parade but now you know for future reference... maybe you can make a follow up picture where she is frantically oiling the blade and swearing at her own stupidity X3
Otherwise it a really well done artwork
(frankly i would love to know where this licking your weapon thing originates from... I can only recall seeing it in The slayer series and that was a merchant licking a cursed knife... but he was kind of driven mad by the curse....
anyway it rather stupid... and there are better way to cause infection and/or poisoning a blade if that the goal)
