OMG...omg...it's finally done! It's FINALLY DONE!! *claws eyes out*I suck at coloring, but I will honestly say, I think this is my first really favorite coloration. ^D^
Lol, I hate to boast, I really do....
Anyway, this was the image that won the contest! ^__^ I didn't mind which one won...mainly because the loser is going to be on the Chapter 12 cover. (That can be a contest later! ^D^)
Anyway, I tried out some new techniques with this one. I just discovered that really cool "burn" tool...XD And I just discovered how to make a cool colored person actually look warm! ^D^
I studied ~sushikitten 's coloration for Chapter 5 that she did for me awhile back, and I tried to incorperate some of her beautiful colors. I'm not sure if I accomplished her version of happy, but I definetly accomplished mine. ^__^

Reeeaaaaally amazing! My one constructive criticism is that if on your layers you set them to "multiply" your black lines won't get covered up and it'll look cleaner, but you cleaned it up spectacularly anyway...I just noticed a couple places the black line was kind of covered in color. I can't clean up my pics at all, so the multiply layer setting thing helps me tremendously! ^_^
Beautiful though, you so do NOT suck at coloring! The burn tool is amazing...did you use the dodge tool for highlights? Those two tools along with the gaussian blur are my bestest friends in paintshop!

But yeah, I used the multiply on my background layer and put all the color underneath it. I think it was just the inconsistancy in my black line...T^T I kind of saw it, but I was too lazy to fix it...XD Thanks for the imput, hun! ^_^

what you do is set your lineart layer to preserve transparancy, then every layer after that, all the color layers, you set to multiply and then your lines won't be covered at all, it's a neat little trick.
The burn tool is my shadow one and the dodge tool is for highlights...they are the best tools ever! ^_^

Great colouring; I see lots of improvement! I really like the brown palette you chose, it suits the mood quite well.
Can I ask about the symbol they have behind them? Does it mean anything at all, or is it a secret? Sorry if this has appeared in MD already, it's 4AM and I am not thinking clearly.
