Your posts remind me of a story I made up (it sounds like the plot of a movie XD) about 2,300 years after the abandonment of earth, voyager 13 (one of 16 resurrection class cruisers, carrying 80 million people in suspended animation/ cyro frozen) suffered catastrophic hull failure due to unknown cause and was put under emergency shutdown for 2 years, killing about 90% of the people aboard and was set off course by 23,476,023 light years. Found new destination and discovered a new humanoid like species BUT ANYWAY... (thats not even it) yeah I just rote that... wow! XD
