Description
Here is a picture that I have done for ScarletBlitz. That's Scarlet, on the left, meeting her musical pony heroes, The Living Tombstone, Mic the Mic, and Wooden Toaster.It's a vector so I decided to kick it out at 1920x1080 because why not. It took me quite a while to do, probably about 5 hours per pony, but the background was quick and easy. I'm not liking the lining though, I think the lines should have been much thicker but it would take hours to change them all now.

Haha good question. I put them in these poses because they don't really like giving out autographs. They just want to be normal like everyone else. (You always want what you cannot have, right?).

5 hours for pony? omg, sounds like tremendous amount of work
The picture is very nice, I guess lines are thicker in original show style but it's not imperative to do them that way afterall)

I've been working on this for like 5 weeks. I think that 5 hours per pony is pretty reasonable and quick. My ATGs usually take more than 5 hours and they usually only have one pony.
I'm glad that you like it. Though the request was for it to me as close to show style as possible, I guess this is as close as I can get. And I always have problems with line thickness so I was trying to concentrate on that. I guess next time I have to concentrate harder.

Hehe, that's enormous amounts of time for me, I'm always drawing in kinda nervous fashion, so can't sit straight for long
Hope you will overcome your problem with line thickness though, I only traced things in vector and that was kinda boring...

Oh, you think that it's too long? I have been trying to cut down but I like to sometimes do the best that I can. And I didn't do this all in one sitting, more like about 6 sittings over about 4 weeks. You only traced things with vectors? Well, I traced over a sketch for this, otherwise it probably would have been a lot less anatomically correct. When my wrist was broken I did a few vectors without a sketch and they took a long time and looked pretty messy.

Yeah but I only traced direct screenshots or something (not only from mlp), that was easy on some level but pretty long and boring so I gave it up) Tracing over sketches is sure fine, maybe I'll try it sometime later.

Yeah, vectoring is pretty tedious. Probably why people like it when someone will do it for them.
