As I look at this I can tell that maybe your hand wasn't very steady in certain parts and where you may have pressed down harder in others.... but the overall effect of that is just simply gorgeous! You made it look like a mysterious antique. Like a box of many secrets. I also love how the natural wood speckles perfectly on the tree. Great job!

great work on the tree, but the knotwork and the frame seem burned a bit too much? was it intentional or did you get too pyro-excited?

This box had a small woodburning when i got it, and I sanded it off, it didn't seem to want to cooperate..
