Description
That feeling when you're two-thirds through shading the comic and realize you forgot about the trees. I'll be glad when plot puts them in a less wooded area. Also, because it made me laugh like an idiot, my one beta's reaction to the roughs for this comic: '*cracks up*Β I like 'you don't say'.Β Especially with the dot and the expression like "...fucking hell, six fucking AM, of course it's fucking six AM, what the hell have I done.''
FNAF and all its assorted characters belong to Scott Cawthon, not me.

Being woken up by someone with only a vague idea of what 'personal space' means adds something to it.

It's the magic hour! I admit I'm still undecided on where I stand on the 'how aware was Springtrap when he wasn't hunting' thing. That and 'when did he 'activate' for the first time' are things I keep mulling over because I figure they'll come up in a flashback sooner or later.

Yeah, that's something I wonder about, too. I would guess that something happens at 6 to make him deactivate or whatever, since he stops trying to kill you, even if he's actually in the office when it hits 6 AM. (Those moments when you breathe a huge sigh of relief.)Β

That's a fair point. I've seen some discussion about how the animatronic programming might take over at 6 AM. Which would have to be incredibly frustrating if you're the rampaging zombie cyborg.

That would make sense. That's when the "free roaming mode" switches off with the other animatronics, isn't it?Β
lol I would imagine so Poor Springles...
I've also wondered about how that would work if Fazbear's Fright actually ever opened. Like would it be open during the day and/or after midnight? And how would Springtrap react to the visitors? I'm assuming he'd try to kill them all after midnight, but what about during the day? If he was in animatronic mode what would he do? And if he was deactivated, would he just stand there and the employees would have to move him to random places at different times? XD
Interesting stuff!

Looking at the hours page for a local place from last year (good ol' House of Torment), it looks like in their case, they ran things from 7-ish to midnight. So I'm guessing that's a common horror attraction thing; not many people plan to go see one during the day because it's not spooky enough, maybe. So that would at least keep the patrons safe. In animatronic mode, I imagine it's an 'I have no mouth and I must scream' situation; he doesn't want to be performing the old routines, but he has no choice in the matter. No limb control, no speech, just trapped. Which is pretty fitting punishment, considering that's what he put the kids through.
Also, since in my take, Spring Bonnie's a girl, I imagine he quickly got tired of being referred to as 'she' and 'her' by the staff once they got the old routine up and running again.

Not only that but getting smooshed in a metal and wire suit sucks already but getting stuck in one meant to fit Women?! That must especially suck cause he probably was barely even able to fit in there in the first pace since it wasnt for men...

The Spring Bonnie suit is female as a character, but the suit itself is unisex-the trick there is being in the right height/weight range. Kinda like how at Disney World, Mickey's usually a girl because of the height needed. This is also why Dante is usually in Spring Bonnie, rather than Fredbear-Jorge fits better in the latter, so Dante's stuck playing the girl.

SithMuse In reply to RuneVix [2016-05-19 00:18:43 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that'd make sense. I would think horror attractions would be more popular at night. But it also seems like midnight would be a good time to be open, too. (I'll look into that some more.)Β
That'd be an awful experience, being trapped like that... But, like you said, very fitting.Β
Sometimes I also wonder how 'awake' he was during the time he was hunting. Does he just like toying with you while you sit in the office (probably), or is he kind of out of it? I would think he'd be able to just walk in and kill you if he really wanted to, at least by night 5.Β
Lol he probably would get sick of being called a girl. Insult to injury and all that X3

I love Spring Bonnie's nickname for Springtrap and "Springle's" line in the last panel (that nickname is definitely gonna stick!). Also, nice touch with waking up at 6 AM, very clever!

Bonnie's expressions are fun to draw, because generally they're some variant of 'concerned'.
