And here we are, at the end of things. A big thanks to my betas (for putting up with me), the readership (for caring about this weird thing), and of course, Scott Cawthon, for making the RPG that inspired the whole shebang. I hope you've enjoyed the ride.

Goldie: Hey. How'd talking with Fredbear go?
Springtrap: Not great.
Goldie: Why?
PANEL 3:
Springtrap: Because I'm still HERE. I thought I had an out from this place, and...
Goldie: Well, I'M kinda glad you're still here, you make things a lot more interesting.
PANEL 4:
Goldie: So c'mon, get up, you can't find a way out if you just lay there waiting to be run over by a Chop 'N Roll, right? Let's go do something fun, it'll cheer you up. Bet you have enough a clue to catch Stumpy now!
Springtrap: Heh. You think so?
PANEL 5:
Goldie: You've gotten a lot of practice in over the past couple days. I just wanna know what you were planning if you did catch him.
Springtrap: Now? I don't even know anymore.
PANEL 6:
Goldie: I say we tie balloons to him. Apparently the last time didn't work but I bet it would with more balloons.
Springtrap: ...yeah, okay. Give balloons to the kid, I can work with that.

Thank you too for this ride. I love your comic for its story, FNAF World setting, humor, but mostly, Springtrap/Dante's personality.
I just adore how you managed to make Mr. Poor-Life-Choice be in-character (that is, make him Purple-Guy-aka-serial-child-killer) and yet tell him story in a non-horrible, but rather a dark comedy way.
Also, him being a direct The Divine Comedy is genious))
I think this end is truly a happy end for him and for everyone)

Iβm always glad to hear that the tightrope walk worked-I always wanted him just sympathetic enough that readers would care, but I never wanted anyone to forget what he did. And Iβm always glad to hear the Divine Comedy ref went over well. Iβm weirdly fond of it, thanks college world lit.

I think a lot of people weren't expecting this ending, TBH. But from the start I knew it was the ending I wanted, because it points to a future that's...maybe slightly less godawful for Springles.

And yeah, I think it's fitting with both your series, and with the source material. In the end, no matter how grand we think the scale is, to the world at large, it's just a string of murders. Nothing special in the long run.

it's over now, he's got his happy ending, new friends, and a new purpose. he put someone to rest in the after life. he's frree and able to have fun with his new friends.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Still, I suspect the ending with stumpy is a reference to the Song, 'Balloons', which talks of leaving the Dark past behind.
And Dante, ala Springtrap is doing that. FNaF World maybe a purgatory, but at least he can eventually recover.
Sad its over, but I will cross my fingers and await the bonus Chapters.
