No matter where I go, I know the ghosts are all too near.Merry Christmas! Have a blood-soaked, traumatic nightmare. Major influences on this one are MandoPony's 'They Rise', linked above (which is also an excellent song for Springy's backstory in my take. You'll eventually see why.) and Up She Rises , a wonderfully creepy SFM video. This one took me a surprising amount of time for just six panels, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Yep, Springtrap has had two brand new elements added to his nightmares from life: fire, and being a little three foot rabbit. He didn't think the 'being chased by animatronics' nightmares could get worse. He was wrong.

Congratulations, you are the second non-beta person to notice/comment on those two. At this point it's almost become a game of 'how obvious can I make it that these two have a thing?'
(And don't call Funtime Foxy 'Mangle' to her face. They're separate people in FNAF World, and Funtime Foxy will get...angry with anyone making that mistake.)

They look similar so mistake in this situation is normal.
And if we already take characters from SL to this world, then there's two animatronics named Funtime Foxy.

Yeah, I'm not fussed when people call her Mangle by mistake, but it's fun to hint at some underlying...issues...with the characters. I have a comic planned involving the Funtime Foxy-Mangle thing and I'm looking forward to it.
Β I'm still undecided what the hell I'll do with SL characters, since I'm so wildly off-canon from it. Maybe a "Timelines. Variations on a theme. You're better off not asking." from Fredbear.

But anyway why is Bonnie like higher out of other bunnies? It's design choice ooooor.
And is there like any other "parties" goin on in this word? Like expect this party of those 4, is there any other people under Fredbear's tasks?

Bonnie is the tallest just because he always stuck me as friggin' huge in the first game, and it affected his design here. And making them all a bit more distinctive is fun.
There's other little groups-and loners-who go out and deal with the various rampaging critters problems, and other people hang around civilization and take care of things there. Really, the whole place got on just fine without Springtrap being there, even if it is his afterlife. Generally, if anyone's getting a request from Fredbear, it's much more normal and mundane-'can you go take care of that tree that's rotting and getting dangerous' , 'could you help Foxy fix his boat, he needs a hand', 'help me do a headcount, I'm concerned the Nightmares got nippy again', etc.

Not manifestations of himself in this case, but it's a dream he's had variations on before. And yeah, the therapy is seriously needed. He'd probably chuck the muffins at people he dislikes.

I also really like that you can see his endoskeleton at the back of his throat. Really drives home how loud that scream must be!!

The running through blood panel is one of the my favorites. It was satisfying to see it come together.
And Springtrap's had similar dreams to this one before, while breathing-the being three feet tall adds a new wrinkle of horror to it. That and the fire.
Loud as all hell, and sound carries far out there. Don't attract enemy mobs, Springy.

I imagine; he did just die(?) in a fire two days ago.Β I imagine that would sort of traumatize you pretty good...Β He doesn't seem like he's doing really well right now.Β
Wonder if Goldie's going to try to talk to him about his nightmares... (I say try, he doesn't seem to be the open book type..) Or if Foxy's just going to tie his muzzle shut.

Yeah, I look at older panels and go 'good god, that was bad'. Lesson here: don't quit drawing for several years, then you don't have to work on regaining skills.
And yep, he's dead again. The level of dead you don't come back from is what I call it. And no, he's not. He's had several decades of trauma, issues, and anger pent up inside of him, and now it's starting to all leak out. As for what's next...well, you'll see.

Haha!! Interestingly enough, I quit all drawing for a year and a half through some pretty bad artistic depression.
Fnaf is why I start drawing again. I also bought a new tablet. The Asks...just sort of evolved out of a whim.
Dead again, more than mostly dead.
Yeah. He's got his fair share of trauma. He's spread it around pretty well, it's not surprising some splashed back on him.

FNAF is what got me going again, too. 'Man, I really like these designs...maybe I should try some doodling again...' And that's how the comic got rolling me. I'll just try this once, and then...
I'm really looking forward to getting into the meat of what happened back in the 80s. It's a take I don't think anyone else has done yet.

Yeah... Β It was a lot like that for me. Β I was staring at Springles on my desk at work (I have the first five action figures set up on a little stage on my desk) and was like "Huh, that's...not that bad...) Β And I ended up drawing them a few times, THEN started in on the handbook that I'm currently slowly uploading to DA.
I like anything that makes me feel like Freddy's is just a bit more real. Β I say as I sit here in my security guard uniform, at work, practically in the dark, all by myself... (I'm not a security guard, but I did wish them all a Merry Christmas) Β So I tend to favor prop type crafts. Β
I'm really looking forward to your take on what happened!! Β The "Why" of it has always been pretty big for me, and a lot of the interpretations and theories have been wonderful.
