Only Scott can truly answer the whys and WTFs of FNAF World's clock ending minigames. Which probably means we're never getting answers. Ever. So, wildly theorize away!FNAF and all its characters belong to the aforementioned Scott Cawthon, not me.

Springtrap: Okay, we have another problem besides the giant eyeball monster. How the %$#^ am I supposed to find a big black circle in the DARK?
PANEL 2:
Springtrap: Am I just supposed to wander around and hope for the-

Spring Bonnie: Either Springles fell into a hole or he found it; be right back!
Foxy: Spring Bonnie-
Spring Bonnie: Hey, if it's a hole, somebody's got to get him out, right?
Bonnie: This means we have to stop running, doesn't it? Dangit.
PANEL 4:
Spring Bonnie: Hey, there you are! You did find it!
Springtrap: Yeah, luck's totally on my side now.
PANEL 5:
Spring Bonnie: We should probably get this over with fast, so they don't die.
Springtrap: We're putting cupcakes in boxes. I probably should be done by now, technically.
PANEL 6:
Spring Bonnie: ...so what do the cupcakes have to do with the flipside?
Springtrap: Y'know, that's a question I keep asking myself.

What if the mobile clock ending is right and it was a bouncing pot the did the Bite Of 87'? Jk.
I always thought of FNaF World as a joint AI program for some reason. I mean I'm sure the Animatronics had AI's before they got haunted by kids. The minigames are to fix what's wrong.

From what I always figured, somehow it's setting up the minigames in 3 to let the security guard do them in order to free the children's souls at last, which in some weird way DOES Link FNAF World to the main series
