PANEL 1:
Springtrap: I kept it going for like...two months? About? I don't know, it's been years and things started blurring together. It was a constant, horrible game of 'is this the night I die?'
Jorge: Hey Dante, manager wants you to throw the Bonnie suit on for one last show-
Dante: BEAR!
PANEL 2:
Springtrap: ...it was wearing on me.
Jorge: ...Are you okay? How much coffee did you have?
Dante: Lots. Sorry.
PANEL 3:
Springtrap: A lot of things were wearing on me. Not just constantly being afraid, but also the paranoia. Golden Freddy had only shown up at night-so far. But he had already ripped one guy apart, and kept trying to kill me. How long 'til he showed up in the daytime? How long until some Saturday afternoon birthday party turned into a horror movie?
PANEL 4:
Springtrap: I got desperate. Really desperate.
Dante: Hey, Jorge? Where was it your granny used to buy live chickens from?

Springtrap sacrificed someone and/or the missing kids to get rid of Golden Freddy, didn't he? Also what's with him being named "Dante"? Did you start the comic series before you read The Silver Eyes or knew about his actual name, or is it just an AU?

The comic's very much an AU. TSE is something I completely ignore, (I treat it as its own AU beast) as is anything from SL and onwards. I specifically chose the name Dante for two reasons: 1. to make the AU status more obvious and 2. because I love me a meaningful name trope.

Yep, it's a nod to the Divine Comedy. And re: the first question: yes, that's the foregone conclusion of this start with chickens. I actually have author's notes about this whole slippery slope that this particular comic has kicked off, but they're probably going to be saved for #100.

Yep, and I've got all the scripts up to 100 written up. I've actually found that binge writing ten scripts or so in one evening actually works a hell of a lot better than week to week, so I need to do another binge soon.
