Description
Card number two! Snape, of course. My favorite character pretty much. Because he's awesome and sarcastic.Related content

I would choose it for him. Justice is complex. We too often think of it as people getting what they deserve. I have to believe it is something more than that, even when I am angry and emotional and just want bad things to happen to bad people and good things to happen to good people. What Snape so brilliantly represents is that we often never know someone's whole story. Few people are all bad or all good; there is so much depth. Justice then is not punishment, but perhaps restoration. I think Snape experienced that, but the complexity of it was that he still suffered. (Okay...rambling a bit). I love your Snape. There is something beneath the sneer.

Thanks so much Yes, definitely. Snape is probably my favorite character, but I can't help but feel sad for him, especially after the last book. He had such a hard life and it never really seemed to get better, just worse!
I think justice also brings to mind responsibility and rationality, both of which are a part of Snape's personality, especially the former. Feeling responsible to atone for his sins and all.

Snape, who metes out justice to dunderheads but never receives it himself.
I'm not sure that's the card I would have picked for him. He's too ambiguous to represent something as clear-cut as Justice. Or perhaps you were thinking of the stern and unyielding nature of Justice; that suits him. If McGonagall lived up to her billing of being strict and fair (which she doesn't) she would be suitable for this card. A thought-provoking choice.
And he's beautiful! He's going on my favorites list. (Love the sneer.)

I honestly can't remember my reasoning for choosing it at the time, haha It was for a class assignment though, and it wasn't actually my initial choice. I think I looked up the characteristics of the justice tarot and it had some points that really stuck out to me as Snape-ish. But, yes, I think McGonagall would actually be a better one too
Thanks for the fave!!
