I finally got around to watching Initial D 4th stage, and got a huge kick out of the female RX-7 FD driver from the Saitama area, Kyoko Iwase.She falls so head-over-heels in love with Keisuke, in a creepy stalker-ish fangirl "I'm gonna drive 950 miles nonstop wearing a diaper so I don't have to go to the bathroom in order to see my love" sort of way that I couldn't stop laughing.
Anyway, when watching their car-geek thing blossom I had this funny idea come to me so I decided to do a quick drawing of it. It's the two of 'em sleeping in Keisuke's car...Keisuke as usual is his unrefined male self while Kyoko purrs away.

Keisuke mentions that Kyoko's FD has more turbo lag compared to his own, even when running on the same horsepower.
This is why Kyoko's FD tends to misfire a lot more frequently.

they did that misfire effect with the ae86, which is naturally aspirated, Β kyoichi's evo has misifing, his evo 3 is the only car throughout the series where anti-lag/2-step systems are emphasized
