oh...this is sad. i've only now just begun to appreciate haiku and i really like this.
the last line is obviously the kicker - the powerful one. it's so true, too. i live in a smaller town (not too small, thankfully) but it's sad how, as soon as you leave city limits, the sky just lights up. it's beautiful. i'm always grateful that i can see my way around town at night - but it's also sad that i can't really see the stars.
this is a very true - relavent poem.
